The mission of Eko International Film Festival is to promote the appreciation of Arts and Culture through the motion picture arts and sciences and increase tourism in Nigeria.

It brings together lovers, amateurs and professionals of the 7th art, wishing to support the efforts of the Association Ecrans Noirs in the promotion of cinema in Cameroon and Central Africa. In doing so, they live their passion, join their efforts with the Association to develop cinema in Cameroon and Central Africa, by favoring its playful and educational aspects, through film screenings, debates, moments of recreation, training , and all other initiatives approved by the group.
